Call for Co-Chairs for SURPAS Committees

Want to get more involved and make a difference in the Stanford postdoc community? Now’s your chance! We’re seeking passionate co-chairs for various committees:

🤝 Social Committee: Bring postdocs together! Plan events from happy hours to BBQs, and even our annual Postdoc Prom.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Committee: Support postdocs with dependents through family-friendly activities.

📚 Teaching and Outreach Committee: Help Stanford postdocs engage in teaching and sharing science with the world.

💼 AIMS Committee: The postdoc link to entrepreneurship and Industry. Provide guidance and support for postdoctoral scholars who are interested in pursuing a career path in industry. 

🏠 Affordability Committee: Tackle the financial challenges faced by postdocs, such as cost of living, supporting a more affordable and sustainable life at Stanford.

📢 Communications Committee: Enhance postdoc presence across various non-postdoc communities and maintain a rich institutional memory for postdoc leadership.
