Who does SURPAS represent?
- We represent all of the 2,514 Postdoctoral Scholars at Stanford, across 7 schools.
- We represent many nationalities.
- We have partners (1,031 postdocs), children (428 postdocs), and growing families (100-125 babies per year).

Theme 1: Housing Affordability
- Convert transitional housing into a permanent program
- Improve access to Oakcreek (modify policies)
Theme 2: Postdoc Mentoring and Career Development
- Postdoc peer-mentoring and improving mentoring for faculty
- LinkedIn Premium for Job-seeking Postdocs
Theme 3: Postdoc Benefits
- Increase income threshold for Postdoc Childcare aid to be more commensurate with Faculty and Staff
- Increase Family Grant Program from $10k to $15k
- Increase Childcare Tuition Reduction Program from 5% to 10%
- Full Dental coverage with orthodontic care
- Retirement benefits (i.e., matched 401K)
