Join the SURPAS Leadership Team!

Are you ready to shape the future of Stanford’s postdoc community? We’re looking for passionate individuals to fill the roles of Co-Chair, Financial Officer, and Community Engagement Liaison. Each position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact:

🔹 Co-Chair (3-5h/week): Represent all postdocs at SURPAS meetings, meetings with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, Faculty Senate meetings, etc. Organize and lead council meetings, and ensure smooth operations within SURPAS.

🔹 Community Engagement Liaison (2-4h/week): Help make resources of SURPAS available to all Stanford Postdocs. Work with Postdocs interested in working with SURPAS as a sponsor or mentor to help them meet all applicable rules and regulations.

🔹 Financial Officer (1-2h/week, varies): Keep all financial records of SURPAS, prepare an annual budget, and advise members on financial matters and proceeds payments or reimbursements.
