SURPAS meet with Stanford Vice Provost and Associate VP

🌟 Today our SURPAS co-chairs, Sushrima Gan and Shashank Chetty, met with Vice Provost, Kenneth Goodson and Associate VP, Paula Welander to share SURPAS’ advocacy efforts. They discussed critical challenges postdocs face, from housing, childcare, mental health, to career transitions, plus outlined the initiatives SURPAS is driving to support our community 🙌

🤝 It was heartening to see strong institutional support and thoughtful dialogue around solutions, from the upcoming Stanford Postdoc Festival 2025 to enhanced resource access and cross-department engagement 🗣️
