Ozge Bozkurt (SLAC/Stanford): “Is your home country, home?” – How Did We Get Here? Seminar Series

How Did We Get Here? Seminar Series

In the “How did we get here?” Seminar Series, we will listen, reflect, and discuss stories that showcase the diverse pathways that we have all taken to become postdocs at Stanford. We are especially interested in the stories that don’t often get told. This is a fantastic way to share your learnings, empower others, and connect with fellow postdocs!

This month, we’re hearing from: Ozge Bozkurt (SLAC/Stanford): “Is your home country, home?” Ozge has thought about this often. As a chemical engineer, her journey to SLAC/Stanford began when she left her home country to solve the plastic waste problem. Ozge is passionate about advocating for a research community with enhanced compensation, diversity, collaboration, and research quality. She also enjoys mentoring young scientists and is excited to share her personal story.
