The Ombuds is a confidential resource available to all faculty, staff, postdocs, students or other members of the Stanford community. There is a separate Ombuds Office for the School of Medicine. Visitors to the Ombuds office are welcome to discuss any concern that is interfering with their academic or work life. The Ombuds will listen without judgment; offer information about policies and procedures, and help individuals identify and evaluate the different options available to address their concerns - Faculty Staff Help Center | Cardinal at Work
They serve all postdocs and offer a variety of services for the Stanford community including confidential counseling, workshops, discussion groups, and facilitated conversation - Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA)
Private, but not confidential if they are required to report, especially concerns of sexual assault
